S2 Mini 50: Change Is The Only Constant

S2 Mini 50: Change Is The Only Constant

A few recent conversations with friends has Dr. Hallowell thinking about how the world has changed in his lifetime, and whether or not it’s for the better. He ponders questions like: Do we still have standards in society? Are millennials lazy? Is social media to blame for all of our problems? And, has the world gone to hell in a bucket?

As the Greek philosopher Heraclitus put it so many years ago, “the only thing that is constant is change.”

Thanks for such a wise and inspiring mini episode.
The first minutes reminded me of an anecdote:
“We have fallen upon evil times […] Children are no longer respectful to their parents.”
Stone tablet, King Naram Sin of Chaldea, 3800 years B.C.
    😉

Thank you Nils! What a great quote… I guess there are some things that don’t change!
